The Dixon Meadow Preserve is a 14-acre naturalized area, created to manage stormwater, provide natural habitat, and offer passive recreation for the community. Fully equipped with a parking lot lot off Flourtown Road, connected by a walking trail down to the Boardwalk, the preserve offers a boardwalk spanning nearly two-thirds of a mile, three observation stations with educational signs, and meadow preserves boasting a diversity of wildlife. The Preserve is a haven for birders, walkers and those who enjoy the area’s natural flora and fauna. The Dixon Meadow Preserve & Boardwalk is the result of collaborative efforts between Whitemarsh Township and the Whitemarsh Foundation.
