QUICK LINKS:

Residential Curbside Trash Collection

Residential trash is collected curbside once-per-week on the same day in each Collection District from occupied dwellings in Whitemarsh Township by J. P. Mascaro & Sons.

For questions relating to collection procedures and/or complaints, you may call Mascaro at 1-800-432-1616 during regular business hours [Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM]. You may also use this link to the J. P. Mascaro web site, click on the "email us" icon for a human-read response during normal business hours.

The rules for trash collection in Whitemarsh Township are based upon a contract between the Township and Mascaro for collection, and between the Township and the Waste System Authority of Eastern Montgomery County for disposal. To provide efficient and economical service, it is necessary that everyone complies with these rules. Whitemarsh Township and Mascaro each desire to provide the best possible service to the residents of Whitemarsh Township. Your cooperation and assistance in reaching this common goal is appreciated.

ALL Collection Times begin at 7:00 AM

It is not possible to set firm collection times for each neighborhood because of unforeseen circumstances along the route. To ensure that your curbside materials will be collected, it is recommended that you place them curbside the night before, but no earlier than 7:00 PM. Trucks will NOT return for materials placed curbside after 7:00 AM. Emptied containers must be removed from curbside no later than 10 pm on the collection day.

All residential trash MUST BE ENCLOSED in up to six (6) waterproof bags or containers each no heavier than fifty (50) pounds. No bulk items or yard waste collected with trash.
