Welcome to the Whitemarsh Police Department website. The sworn officers and civilian employees of the Whitemarsh Police Department appreciate the opportunity to work with you in making Whitemarsh Township a safe and enjoyable place to live, work and visit.
MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the Whitemarsh Township Police Department is to
tirelessly protect the citizens of our great community, to serve those citizens
without prejudice, and to defend our community under any circumstance. The
unmitigated commitment of each member of this department reflects the true
nature of the men and women who demonstrate exemplary conduct on and off duty.
Through our service to the community we promote the quality of life and ensure
justice. The men and women of the Whitemarsh Township Police Department
strive to make Whitemarsh Township a great place to live and work. This
goal shall be accomplished each and every day with honesty, respect and
integrity.
Citizen's Police
Academy Starting September 2009
The Citizens Police Academy is a program designed to provide participants with a working knowledge of the Whitemarsh Township Police Department. The Academy consists of a series of classroom instruction and practical field exercises held one evening per week for a period of two to three hours. This course of instruction, which will be held over ten sessions, is offered to residents of Whitemarsh Township at no cost.
