Whitemarsh Township Parks & Recreation operates year round offering programming and special events to the residents of Whitemarsh Township. The Recreation Department relies on the assistance of part time staff and volunteers to make these programs and special events a success.
All appicants must fill out an Application for Employment, and go through the Recreation Departments interview process. Applicants must be at least 15 years of age. All applicants must also submit to a drug screening test once hiring takes place. All applicants must also have CPR and AED certification. If you do not have these certifications you will have 6 months to complete this training through the Township. Whitemarsh Township Parks & Recreation is seeking concession staff for its new concession stand operations. Applicant will be required to work evenings and weekends. Staff will be responsible for the sale of food, restocking of product, and clean up. If interested please fill out an application for employment and submit it to the Parks & Recreation Department. Whitemarsh Township Parks & Recreation is currently seeking applicants for concession supervisors. Applicant must be at least 18 years of age to apply. Applicant must have some supervisory experience and would prefer experience in food services. Concession Supervisor will be supervising approximately 3 concession staff. Whitemarsh Township Parks & Recreation is currently seeking applicants for camp counselor volunteers. Counselors will be used for our 8 week camp program. Applicants will either be placed at our Miles Park Camp, or our Cedar Grove Camp. All Applicants must go through the same training as our counselors do. All volunteers have the same job responsibilities as our counselors, they just dont get paid. Applicants must fill out an volunteer application for employment and submit it to the Parks & Recreation Department. All volunteers must also go through an interview process.
