Whitemarsh Township Parks & Recreation operates year round offering programming and special events to the residents of Whitemarsh Township. The Recreation Department relies on the assistance of part time staff and volunteers to make these programs and special events a success.

GENERAL HIRING INFO

All applicants must fill out an Application for Employment, and go through the Recreation Departments interview process. Applicants must be at least 15 years of age. All applicants must also submit to a drug screening test once hiring takes place. All applicants must also have CPR and AED certification. If you do not have these certifications you will have 6 months to complete this training through the Township. All applications for Summer 2010 employment for all Camp & Concession employment were due 2/12/10. PART-TIME PARK RANGER

CAMP COUNSELOR

Applicant must also have experience working with children and should be dependable and enthusiastic and have good customer service skills. Cedar Grove and Miles Park Camp runs from 8:30 A.M. - 4:30 P.M , Monday through Friday. Teen Camp runs from 8:30 A.M. - 4:30 P.M. Monday through Thursday. It is preferred that Applicants should some food service expericence but is not required. Applicant must be dependable and enthusiastic and have good customer service skills. Weekend and weeknight work is required. The Concession stand opens in March with limited hours. The stand will be in full operation the months of June through August.
