The Board of Supervisors acted upon the amended preliminary land development application at the conclusion of a Dec 9th Public Hearing at which Special Hearing Counsel William J. Bolla, Esquire advised the Board that all legal options other than favorable action had been exhausted by the township and that based upon the testimony and evidence presented, the Board must legally grant preliminary approval. A transcript of the Public Hearing will be available for review at the Township Building during normal business hours. The written decision will be available within 15-days of the verbal decision.
The preliminary approval provides for a PennDOT Traffic Impact Study review and roadway improvements approval of six roadway intersections located nearby the Stenton Avenue site.
All members of the Board expressed their desire to work cooperatively with the applicant in an effort to obtain a more favorable development of the site.
The applicant proposes to construct six (6) office buildings totaling 500,000 square feet and 2,000 parking spaces on a 54.36-acre parcel located on the north side of Stenton Avenue between Joshua Road and Cricket Road, also known as Hole # 1. The complete application may be reviewed at the Township Building, Monday through Friday between 9:00AM and 5:00PM.
