Creekside Commons Land Development

Highway Materials, Inc. requested a continuance of the March 25, 2010 Creekside Commons preliminary land development plan public hearing to allow for an application to the Zoning Hearing Board to address zoning issues which are alleged to exist with regard to the plan. Whitemarsh Township Special Counsel William J. Bolla, Esquire granted the continuance request in accordance with a July 1, 2008 Court Order (link below) that the Township shall provide Highway Materials, Inc. such reasonable extensions of time which may be needed to obtain the information and approvals required by the Township.

Special Counsel Bolla directed the Whitemarsh Township Zoning Officer to issue a determination as to whether the amended preliminary plan is in compliance with the Zoning Ordinance. The applicant proposes to construct six (6) office buildings totaling 500,000 square feet and 2,500 parking spaces on a 54.36-acre parcel located on the north side of Stenton Avenue between Joshua Road and Cricket Road, also known as Hole # 1. The complete application may be reviewed at the Township Building, Monday through Friday between 9:00AM and 5:00PM.
