The Whitemarsh Township Greenway Plan Steering Committee, including Representative Members from the Board of Supervisors, Planning Commission, Open Space Committee, Shade Tree Commission, Parks and Recreation Board and the Environmental Advisory Board began to prepare the Greenway Plan in May 2006. Following a Public Hearing, the Whitemarsh Township Board of Supervisors adopted the plan at their regularly scheduled public meeting on August 16, 2007 by Resolution 2007-31.
