Joanne Donahue, manager of Land Restoration at the Schuylkill Center will share the best methods for controlling invasive plants and reclaiming your yard and flower beds with native alternatives.

Learn tips and tricks for managing your home garden without the use of synthetic fertilizers and pesticides. Camila Rivera-Tinsley, Education Farm Manager at the Schuylkill Center will share the basics of integrated pest management and strategies of growing healthy food you can feel good about!

This "Going Green" program will be about making lifestyle changes such as home and garden methods, alternative energy, and protecting water resources, all ways in which people can contribute to maintaining a more sustainable environment. The topic of integrated pest management will also be discussed.
