1. What's the best and fastest way to obtain a building permit?

Larger projects requiring sub-division, land development, or earth disturbance should begin by scheduling an appointment with the Zoning Officer and the Building Inspector to discuss your planned project. You'll be guided through the permit process and obtain a better understanding of what code regulations will affect your project in what manner and may discover options to speed-up the permit application, review and approval process. 2. Why is a building permit required to erect a fence?
