The Employee Retirement Committee consists of three residents of Whitemarsh Township appointed to serve as advisors to the Board of Supervisors regarding the Employees' Retirement Fund, Police Pension Fund and Supplemental Police Pension Plan. The members of the Committee are appointed to serve overlapping four year terms. In addition to the three residents members, there are three ex officio members who attend all meetings of the Committee and can act in an advisory capacity to the regular members of the Committee but who do not vote. These members include one person chosen by the members of the Township Police force, one person chosen by the non-uniformed employees of the Township and the Township Manager or one person from the Manager's office.
