Whitemarsh Township uses a variety of ways to reach out and inform the residents on all the different news and events taking place around the Township.

Electronic News Alerts
The Township posts news alerts on the Township Website where residents can read on the latest updates. Residents can sign up for news alerts via email by visiting the Notify Me® page of the website and submit their email address.

Township Publications

Whitemarsh Living
The Township also publishes seasonal news magazine titled "Whitemarsh Living". A printed publication of each edition is mailed to every residence. "Whitemarsh Living" contains news and events happening around the Township as well as reminders on basic services and regulations. Electronic versions of the magazine is available for viewing on the Township Publications page of the website.

Whitemarsh Recreator
The Whitemarsh Parks and Recreation Department publishes the "Whitemarsh Recreator" twice each year to notify residents of all upcoming and scheduled recreation programs, events, and activities. Electronic versions of the magazine is also available for viewing on the Township Publications page of the website.

Whitemarsh Police Annual Report
The Whitemarsh Township Police Department publishes an annual report to be used as a reference guide for the year in review. The Annual Report is available on the Police Department's webpage.

Television / YouTube
The Township also manages a local Government Access TV channel called Whitemarsh TV (Comcast channel 965 and Verizon channel 46). The Board of Supervisors public meetings are cablecast live at 7:00pm the night of the scheduled public meeting, and LIVESTREAMED on our Township's YouTube channel. The meetings are then re-cablecast daily on WTV at 9:00am and 7:00pm, and available for re-viewing on YouTube. Both mediums also feature originally-produced Public Service Announcements and other informational content, highlights of Township programs and recent events, and staff updates on various projects and plans.

Residents are encouraged to take advantage of the variety of ways that they can learn more about their community and the latest local happenings.
