The next Township-wide electronics collection is scheduled for WEDNESDAY, MARCH 29. Residents are asked to leave electronics for pick up on the curb (just like trash collection) by 6 AM on Wednesday, March 29 for the Township public works crew to pick up. EARTH DAY RECYCLING BIN DECORATING CONTEST Whitemarsh Township is holding its second annual Earth Day Recycling Bin Decorating Contest. This is open to any youth groups within Whitemarsh Township (cub scouts, girl scouts, school classes, sports teams, etc.). Those interested in participating, see FLYER. Pick up a bin to decorate from the Parks & Recreation Office at Koontz Park and return the decorated bin no later than Friday, April 7. Prizes will be awarded to first, second and third winners!

RIDGE PIKE IMPROVEMENT
Background: Ridge Pike is owned by Montgomery County from Philadelphia to Norristown.
The project area is nearly 5 miles long and Has been divided into seven manageable segments for engineering and construction, with one of those segments sitting between Butler Pike and Crescent Avenue and another segment between Crescent Avenue and Northwestern Avenue in Philadelphia.
