Oct. 24, 2016 - Whitemarsh Township received a $196,000 state grant to make improvements to Miles Park. They will include new field equipment, dugouts, fences and bases, constructing a rain garden and installing a paved walkway and disability access ramp connecting the park to Joshua Road.
This funding was approved by the Commonwealth Financing Authority, an independent agency created by the legislature to administer a variety of the state's funding programs designed to help grow Pennsylvania's economy, create jobs and improve cultural and recreational assets in communities statewide.

FALL LEAF COLLECTION
2016 Fall Leaf Collection starts Monday, October 17 and will continue until Monday, December 19. The Township Public Works Department will make every effort to collect from each street at least once per week. All leaves for last pick up must be piled out on the streets by 6:30 am on Monday, December 19. Residents are asked to pile the leaves onto the curb for the Township Public Works Department to collect - LEAVES ARE NOT TO BE BAGGED.
